These Japanese‑style carving tools are designed to be used with a dragging motion which reduces friction and produces a smooth, fluid cut.

Forged from high‑carbon steel and tempered for exceptional hardness, the Dragtool is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand and create a clean, fluted mark in the clay. Each end offers a different width, allowing for both broader and narrower flutes.
